"Cloaking" means that when someone types in your domain and is forwarded to your site, they will see your domain in the browser address, not the real address.
Example: If you are forwarding www.yourdomain.com to www.geocities.com/mysite/here.html and someone types in or clicks a link to yourdomain.com:

Cloaked: The address in the browser will be www.yourdomain.com
Not Cloaked: The address in the browser will be www.geocities.com/mysite/here.html

Fowarding a domain is simply sending (forwarding) people to a specific web address other than your domain name when anyone goes to your domain name.

You can also create sub-domains from your domain that forward to a different directory within your hosting account, or even a different hosting account.

Example - using myowndomain.com as your domain name and geocities.com/mysite/ as your hosted site address.
  Cloaked? Yes     No

  Sub-Domain #1: .yourdomain.com
  Sub-Domain #1 Forward To:

Name Servers are required when registering a domain name. Here are the general rules for name servers:

If you are using our Forwarding Services, you must use our name servers.

If you have a web host that accepts domains, domain transfers, or registers domains, chances are they have their own name servers. In this case, add their name servers to our form. They should have atleast Primary and Secondary name servers.

If you have a free host, and they do not accept domains or domain transfers, then you will need to use our name servers and forward the domain to the address the web host gave you for your files.

If you have no host, then you just want to "park" or "reserve" your domain, in this case put our name servers on the domain.
